Springtime fun is in full swing, and St. Johns County Parks & Recreation Department still has plenty happening this month for families and residents across the county. From youth talent to local art and upcoming athletic events, March is packed with opportunities to connect with your community through parks and recreation.

🎤 Kids Got Talent Show — March 29

Young performers from across St. Johns County will take the stage for the Second Annual Kids Got Talent Show, happening Sunday, March 29 from 3–5 p.m. at the Solomon Calhoun Community Center. The event gives kids the opportunity to showcase their talents — whether it’s singing, dancing, comedy, instruments, or something entirely unique — in a supportive and fun environment.

The St. Johns County Parks Foundation is proud to help support this growing program. A special thank you to the St. Johns Cultural Council for being a supporter and helping the Foundation enhance the prizes awarded to this year’s winners.

🎨 River Reflections Art Show

Art lovers and nature enthusiasts can also enjoy the River Reflections Art Show, celebrating the beauty and inspiration of our local waterways. The exhibit highlights artwork inspired by the landscapes, wildlife, and natural spaces that make St. Johns County parks so special. Programs like this highlight how parks and recreation go beyond sports and play — they also create opportunities for art, culture, and community storytelling. 🚴‍♀️ April Sneak Peek: Just Tri It! Kids Triathlon

Looking ahead, one of the most anticipated youth events of the year is right around the corner. The Just Tri It! Kids Triathlon returns this April, bringing young athletes together for a fun and encouraging introduction to the sport of triathlon. Hosted in partnership with St. Johns County Parks Foundation, the event encourages kids of all experience levels to swim, bike, and run while building confidence and celebrating healthy, active lifestyles.
