We’re thrilled that the St. Johns County Parks Foundation was selected to participate in Birdies for Charity, the official fundraising platform of THE PLAYERS Championship.

Birdies for Charity invites nonprofits in Northeast Florida to engage supporters by making a minimum contribution and guessing the number of birdies that will be made during the competitive rounds of THE PLAYERS Championship (March 10–15, 2026). 

Supporters who make a donation get to submit their guess — and one lucky entrant who comes closest to the total without going over will have the chance to win a $10,000 grand prize, which they may keep or donate to a participating charity of their choice. 

Participating charities receive 100 % of the pledges they collect, plus the opportunity to earn additional funding from a $100,000 bonus pool provided by THE PLAYERS Championship. 

We’re especially proud to be the only parks and recreation organization involved and to represent St. Johns County — the home turf of THE PLAYERS Championship and the PGA TOUR headquarters — in this exciting fundraising effort.
