We’re egg-stra grateful for the St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department—and all the ways they keep community traditions hopping along.

This week, they're putting on a classic that never gets old: the egg-citing annual Easter Egg Hunts! Held on April 17 and 19 from 10 a.m. to noon, these events are a basket full of joy for kids up to 8 years old and their families:
April 17 – Palencia Park & Veterans Park
April 19 – Treaty Park & Al Wilke Park

These springtime celebrations are more than just fun—they’re reminders that SJC Parks & Rec makes space for every-bunny to feel included. Not every family lives in a neighborhood with planned holiday events, but thanks to the hard-working staff at Parks & Rec, these free, wholesome traditions are available to everyone in our county.
We see the heart that goes into organizing events like this year after year, and we think it’s egg-ceptional. From stuffing eggs to suiting up the Bunny, the Parks and Recreation team brings joy that’s felt far beyond the playground.
